| Bio: | Living and writing in southeast Michigan. Married, no kids, one cat.
I'm the youngest of 4, born and raised in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. I met ![[info]](http://p-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) dionysus1999 in college and we started living in sin together 4 months after we started dating. We have been together 14 years total, married for 10.
Education: I went to a Christian liberal arts college in Tenn. my freshman year, then transferred to a state college in Michigan. Double-majored in Philosophy and English (concentration creative writing), and almost had enough credits for a minor in religion.
Spirituality: Fundamentalist Christian in my youth, Wiccan in my 20s, now atheist.
Politics: I'm a left-leaning libertarian. The First Amendment means a lot to me, because both church/state separation and freedom of the press/freedom of expression are major issues for me.
Job stuff: I'm working as a proofreader/editor for a private consulting firm. Before that, I worked as the editor of a small news publication that's part of a bigger chain of papers. I'm still interested in journalism and free speech issues.
Passions: Words, food, health, skepticism.
